I headed to Anderson Village this morning to tour an apartment since I’ll need to find something for my last year here. I decided, a while back, that I would be leaving the house I’m in now once Andy graduated. I don’t really know any of the other guys here that well, and we’re not like-minded on most things — it’s probably best for all (for my stress level, at least) if I move along.
My impression after touring the apartment: the apartment itself was “ok”. The carpet wasn’t in great shape, and it wasn’t super nice. But it did have lots of closet space, and more-than-enough space for a single guy in the kitchen. The greatest thing of all — it’s a 90 second walk to work from the apartment.
Anyway, I’m filling out the application tonight, and I’ll probably turn it in tomorrow and see what they say. I’m too lazy to shop around — hopefully this won’t be a mistake.
