This weekend was refreshingly uneventful for me. The last week or two have felt like they were go-go-go all the time, and I never had a chance to catch my breath or get enough sleep. This weekend had a whole bunch of “nothing” scheduled in it on purpose. Saturday I watched the KSU football game, played some catch with my brother, and sat around the house. Sunday I went to our worship service, looked at math homework for a while, then bummed around watching TV and chatting with friends (thanks for calling, Tabby).
Part of the emptiness of the weekend was because I am officially “off” from worship team at Grace Baptist every third Sunday now. This will provide a welcome chance to be a sloth for an entire weekend or to travel west to visit family/friends without worrying about being back by Sunday morning. Even though I love worshipping through playing instruments, not having that responsibility once in a while is nice.
Anyway, I’m off to bed (before 11:00, oh yeah!).
