On June 2 (Thursday) I had a dental appointment to get some fillings, and I decided to make a trip out of it and see some friends. As I mentioned before, I’m trying to spend a ton of time with those that I care about this summer… 
I left Manhattan late Wednesday afternoon and drove to my Dad’s in Ellsworth. I had some supper with him and hung out for a little while before I went to Lyons to visit with Kelsey for a couple hours. We read through a lot of Proverbs together and had a great time doing it. I went back to Ellsworth to spend the night.
Thursday morning I got up around 10:15ish and eventually got in the shower so I was cleaned up for Hays. There was some pretty heavy rain on my way there. After arriving I went to Sonic with my mom, brushed my teeth, and drove to the dentist’s office. 
I wasn’t certain what to expect since I’ve never had any tooth decay problems before. It ended up being completely painless (no shot for the pain even), and I only experienced a little discomfort when he was working on one of the 3 teeth. Hurrah. Maybe I could have gotten him to do the rest of them while I was in there & save me some trouble later. 
After the appointment I drank a Cherry Limeaid to try to get rid of the sandyness that was hanging out in my mouth, and I went to see Ben & Mandy for a few hours. We ended up ordering tuxes for the wedding and walking around The Mall (that’s right, Hays has THE Mall) for a while before getting a movie and some Taco Bell. We watched Cellular (not horrible, but not great) before I left to drive to Ellis for the night.
I’m not completely sure what my plans are for the rest of the weekend or even if I’ll be back for church in Manhattan on Sunday morning, but I’ll probably end up hanging out with Ben & Mandy again on Friday and then catch Kelsey on Saturday. That’s all that I know.
