Well… Ichthus was wonderful again tonight, and if you’re reading this you should definitely go with me next week. 
Tonight our speaker’s topic was prima facie directed at new Christians, which would have been appropriate since it’s Alpha Thursday… but there was stuff to be had for anybody that would listen. At one point in particular he was talking about the spiritual roller coaster that most Christians can probably identify. Some have a more “exciting” ride than others, but at some time or another we’ve experienced it. It got me thinking though — it’s been quite a while since I’ve found myself plummeting down to the bottom of the track.
Now I find myself going ~to~ God when my life isn’t going so well, and it doesn’t drag my spiritual life down with it. If anything I get stronger and more rooted during the difficult times… Anyway, I was encouraged when I thought about that.
